Pick up toys from the yard that are able to capture rainwater.
Store objects inside your shed or garage, rather than in the backyard.
Cover objects that capture rainwater with tarps that slant and allow the rain to channel to the ground, where it can be soaked up.
Turn kiddie pools over when they aren't being used.
Apply fish to a birdbath or install water circulators.
Clean gutters to prevent blockages and keep water from pouring over the edges and adding to the saturation of your foundation perimeter.

Along with eliminating stagnant water breeding sites, it is important to take steps to reduce overall moisture in your yard. Here are a few suggestions:

Trim tree branches to let the sunlight into shaded areas that tend to stay moist after it rains.
Trim bushes and put space between your plants to let the air move through your landscaping and dry your topsoil after you water your plants.
Fix any damaged plumbing, leaky water spigots, or hoses.
Keep your lawn and landscaping trimmed.

If you have a small child, we recommend staying away from the treatment area while the service is being performed and then wait until the product has dried.
