What do Oriental cockroaches look like?
Typically growing up to one inch in length, Oriental roaches are shiny black in color with smooth bodies. While both females and males have wings, neither are capable of flight.

Oriental roaches prefer environments that are dark, moist, and that are not visited often. Wall voids and crawl spaces are common places to find these pests inside. Outside, they’re likely to be found in garbage piles, under leaves and other organic debris, and around sewers and storm drains. What do Oriental cockroaches eat?
Oriental cockroaches feed on starchy foods, garbage, and all sorts of decaying matter. These roaches can survive for up to a month without food, but can’t survive for more than two weeks without water.
