Haslet, TX Pest Control

Haslet, a small town in Tarrant County, Texas, is known for its small-town charm and close-knit community. It is conveniently located close to the amenities and attractions of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and boasts beautiful parks and quality restaurants. It is also home to the Texas Motor Speedway, a world-class motorsports facility that hosts various racing events throughout the year.

With its humid subtropical climate, Haslet is an excellent place for residents seeking to stay away from cold weather. The town experiences hot and humid conditions during the summer, with occasional cold snaps in the winter, but this is generally short-lived.

But while Haslet is a charming and friendly place to live, it is also an excellent place for pests to take hold. Mosquitoes are common during the warmer months and can transmit diseases such as the West Nile virus and Zika virus. The town is also home to venomous and non-venomous spiders, including brown recluse spiders, wolf spiders, and black widows. Termites are another common pest there; they can infest the interior and exterior of homes and cause significant damage.

If you are struggling with an infestation, Adams Exterminating Company provides dependable pest control in Haslet. Call us today to find out more about our many eco-friendly treatment options.

How Big A Problem Is That Ant In Your Haslet Home?

Ants are tiny pests that are easy to ignore until the infestation has grown large enough. Some species you might see in your home include carpenter ants, fire ants, pharaoh ants, odorous house ants, crazy ants, and pavement ants.

But while they don't seem as problematic as mosquitoes or rodents, even one ant can mean big problems and require professional ant control to get rid of it.

Carpenter ants, for instance, can cause damage to wood structures in homes and other buildings by burrowing to create their nests. You can usually find them in areas with high humidity, such as basements, crawl spaces, and attics. Their relentless work can weaken the structure of your home or business and make it more susceptible to collapse.

Fire ants are small, reddish-brown ants that can be aggressive. Their sting can cause a burning sensation and can be dangerous for people allergic to their venom.

And finally, pharaoh ants invade food supplies and spread dangerous illnesses by transmitting bacteria and other harmful pathogens, including salmonella and staphylococcus. Give us a call, and we can help you swiftly get rid of your ant infestation.

Our FAQ

Have questions? We are here to help. Still have questions or can't find the answer you need? Give us a call at 940-239-9786 today!

  • What are the steps to take prior to receiving flea treatment?
Please review our flea treatment information sheet found here.
  • If your company puts out rodent poison at my house, will a rat die inside?
Yes, this is a possibility. Ideally, we prefer to use traps on the inside and in the attic, and then place rodent poison in protected stations on the exterior (which could reduce the likelihood of having a rodent die inside). However, anytime a rodenticide is used, there is always a threat that a rat or mouse could die on the inside. If the dead rodent can be located and removed, this will fix the smell. Otherwise, we sell odor control products to help with unpleasant smells should this unfortunately occur.
  • Are the products/chemicals you use safe?
All of the products that we use have undergone extensive testing and have been approved for use by the EPA. Instead of using generic products, we believe in purchasing the best available chemicals that have been manufactured by well-known companies such as Bayer, BASF, and Dow. Additionally, all of our service programs are designed to be effective, safe, and environmentally responsible and all of the products we use are chosen to that end. When used properly by a licensed professional, they pose practically no risk to our customers or their children or pets.
  • How many years have you been in business?
We are a family owned, locally operated pest control company that has been in business since 1947. For over 75 years, our company has expanded its service area while continuing to provide exceptional customer service.
