Adams Exterminating Company’s Precaution With COVID-19
Our company, as always, is committed to safeguarding the health of our clients and our employees. As we continue to monitor the spread of COVID-19 across the United States, we want to keep you informed about our actions regarding safety and prevention of spread in our local communities.
Pest Control Professionals play a vital role in protecting our nation’s public health, food supply, homes, and businesses, and the Pest Control Industry has been deemed an “essential service” by the Department of Homeland Security and local county governments. Since Adams Exterminating Company provides these valuable services to our local communities, we will continue operations at this time as we strive to protect our clients and their homes and businesses from pests.
With the arrival of Spring in North Texas and due to the amount of rain that has accumulated, we anticipate HIGH pressure from insects in the coming months and expect high demand for our services. While we always work to exceed the expectations of our clients, we are having to adjust our service procedures.
All field employees are practicing social distancing and not in contact with office personnel or other field employees.
All field employees are operating with various supplies of PPE (Gloves, Masks, Respirators).
Office staff is minimized with many working from home.
Regular cleanings or wipe downs of equipment and office areas are being performed.
We are limiting interior service to problem areas only as much as possible. Many of our client’s pest issues arise from exterior sources and we feel many interior issues can be solved with a professional exterior application of products. If further treatment is deemed necessary, by our field technicians, it will be discussed with the customer and plan of treatment devised.
While performing interior treatment our technicians are practicing social distancing as best as possible and will be wearing gloves, masks, or respirators. Please work with them in maintaining a 6 feet distance as much as possible.
We are monitoring the rapidly changing situation and adjusting as Governmental and Health Agencies make information available. Please contact us if you have any concerns or questions regarding your service.
